Becoming a member

This Society aims to advance research and promote knowledge about oral and maxillofacial surgery in order to contribute to the academic development and to promote population health in Japan (Articles of Association, Chapter 2, Article 4).

People who support these aims and wish to join the Society, should confirm the Society regulations as in the Articles of Association, and make an application depending on profession and qualifications, in one of the categories below.

Full member

An individual who is a dentist, doctor, oral surgery-related health professional or dental medical researcher, and agrees with the aims of this organization.

Associate member

An individual who is in a specialist medical profession, and agrees with the aims of this organization.

* Not qualified to receive the Society’s journal and no voting rights at delegate elections. It is possible to submit papers to the Society’s journal and to make presentations at Congresses, etc.

Supporting member

To make an application, please contact the Society’s Secretariat.

Individuals or companies who support the aims and the operation of the organization.
